STABILO swing cool 275/51 highlighter pen, turquoise

STABILO swing cool in turquoise – chisel-tip highlighter for school, university and the office

The STABILO swing cool 275/51 in turquoise is a highlighter pen for picking out important passages of text in bright colour. The chisel tip gives two line widths: 1 mm for fine underlining and 4 mm for broad highlighting. The pen is slim and flat and has a clip, so it fits in a pencil case, bag or folder. The barrel has a non-slip surface. The ink is water-based.

According to STABILO, the anti-dry-out protection keeps the tip from drying out for up to 4 hours. If you leave the cap off for a while when studying, the highlighter will not dry out straight away. The cap can also be pushed onto the end of the pen, so it does not get lost.

Highlighting with the chisel tip

Use the narrow edge of the chisel tip (1 mm) to underline single words or lines, and the broad side (4 mm) to highlight whole paragraphs in one stroke. Turquoise stands out clearly against black on white and works well when you want to separate terms, headings or study content from other highlights by colour. Test on a corner of freshly printed sheets first to check whether the water-based ink smudges the print.

Good to know

According to STABILO, the pen from the swing cool series is not waterproof and not refillable. According to the manufacturer, the series comes in 23 colours; other shades such as green, red, lavender or pink are available separately.
