How to erase the ink

According to Eberhard Faber, the gel ink can be removed by frictional heat. To do so, rub firmly over the writing with the eraser at the end of the pen until it disappears, then brush away the eraser crumbs. Because the ink reacts to heat, use the pen for exercise books, notes and sketches, not for text that needs to stay legible permanently.

What the gel pen is suited to
