POSCA Groovy Colours 20-Piece Acrylic Paint Marker Set

POSCA Groovy Colours – 20 acrylic paint markers in three tip sizes in a metal tin

The POSCA Groovy Colours acrylic paint marker set contains 20 water-based acrylic markers in a metal tin. You can use them on paper, card, wood, metal, plastic and textiles. The paint is opaque and lightfast, and the ink does not bleed through paper.

The set combines basic colours with glitter, metallic and neon colours. This means not every marker has a matt finish. With three tip sizes, one set covers fine outlines and larger areas.

Which tip for which job?

The extra-fine PC-1MC (6 pieces) is the one for details, outlines and lettering. The fine PC-3M (7 pieces) is the all-rounder for lines and smaller areas. With the medium PC-5M (7 pieces) you fill areas more quickly and make bold strokes. The tin also contains gold as well as the metallic and neon colours, which work well for accents and effects.

Working with the markers

Shake the marker with the cap on and press the tip down several times on a test surface until the paint flows. When applying light colours on dark surfaces, it is better to use two thin layers and let the first one dry, otherwise it will smear. Replace the cap straight after use so the tip does not dry out.

• Paper and card: the ink does not bleed through.
• Wood and metal: the paint adheres permanently.
• Textiles: fix the paint by ironing from the reverse side.
• Glass and other smooth surfaces: the paint can be wiped off again.
