Eberhard Faber Metallic Marker Duo – set of 6 dual-tip metallic markers

Eberhard Faber Metallic Marker Duo – 6 metallic colours with dual tips

The Eberhard Faber Metallic Marker Duo set of 6 (art. no. 558406) contains six metallic pens in gold, silver, metallic green, metallic blue, metallic pink and metallic purple. You can draw, write and letter with them on light, dark and coloured paper and on smooth surfaces.

Each pen has two tips: a fine 0.8 mm tip for thin lines and writing, and a 1–10 mm brush tip for lettering. According to the manufacturer, the water-based ink can be applied straight away, with no need to pump or shake the pen, and dries quickly.

What the metallic markers are suited to

On dark paper and card the metallic colours stand out particularly well, while on light paper they add glossy accents. The fine tip suits details, outlines and small writing, and with the brush tip you can vary the line width for flowing letters and hand lettering. You can draw on glass, plastic and metal as long as the surface is smooth.

Durability and fixing

Once dry, the colour is smudge-proof and splash-proof. It becomes waterproof when you fix it in the oven at 160 °C. It is not dishwasher safe. Only fix surfaces that can withstand this temperature.
