Staedtler Lumocolor 317 M – 8 permanent markers for writing on almost any surface

The Staedtler Lumocolor permanent marker 317 M set contains 8 multi-purpose markers in new colours. You can use them to mark and label card, plastic, metal, glass, wood and stone, for example at school, in the office, in the workshop and on craft projects.

The M line width is approx. 1.0 mm. That is a good medium width for clearly legible labels, markings and sketches on smooth, firm surfaces. The ink is permanent, smudge-proof and waterproof, quick-drying and low-odour. Because it dries quickly, writing hardly smudges, even if you run your hand over it.

Using the marker

Permanent ink adheres best to clean, dry, grease-free surfaces. Wipe glass, metal or plastic briefly before writing so that the line stays clean. On delicate plastics or decorative items, test the marker first on an inconspicuous spot. Press the cap firmly back on after writing so that the tip does not dry out.

Refilling and choosing

According to Staedtler, the markers can be refilled with the Refill Station 487 17, so you can use them for longer. With a line width of approx. 1.0 mm, they are suitable for labels, markings and bolder lines. For very fine details you will need a pen with a narrower tip.
