The Faber-Castell universal compass attachment (art. no. 163000) is an accessory for compasses: you clamp writing and drawing tools into it and use them to draw circles. The pin has a diameter of 3.5 mm. This lets you extend a compass without having to buy an additional one.

The attachment is 30 mm long and comes in a case, which keeps it protected when stored.

Drawing clean circles

Insert the writing or drawing tool into the attachment and fit it to the compass. Set the radius and hold the compass as upright to the paper as possible while turning, so that the line stays even. Before buying, check that the socket on your compass fits the 3.5 mm pin.
