Caran d'Ache 849 Rollerball Refill, Blue, Medium (0.7 mm)

Caran d'Ache 849 rollerball refill in blue – gel ink refill, medium line

The Caran d'Ache 849 rollerball refill in blue is the replacement refill for the 849 Rollerball. It has a medium (M) line width of 0.7 mm and is filled with gel ink. Thanks to the rollerball tip, it writes smoothly on any paper, according to the manufacturer.

The tube is made of nickel-plated brass and the ball of stainless steel. The colour marking on the refill matches the ink colour, so you can quickly identify the colour when changing refills. The refill is made in Switzerland (Swiss Made).

Does the refill fit your pen?

The refill is intended for the rollerball pens of the 849 series. It is not designed for other Caran d'Ache models. The medium line (0.7 mm) writes a little bolder than the finer F version, which has its own reference number (8462.160). If you want to keep your usual line width, choose the same width as your current refill.
