Prym steel pins (art. no. 024265) are nickel-plated steel pins for holding fabric, pattern pieces and lining securely in place while you sew. They are 40 mm long with a diameter of 0.8 mm. The 500 g bulk pack gives you a generous supply for dressmaking, alterations and hobby projects.

The pins are silver-coloured and packed in a cardboard box. If you sew regularly, work in a studio or need pins for classes and groups, this quantity will last a long time.

Pinning correctly

Insert the pins across the seam line or at a right angle to it, with the heads pointing towards the seam allowance so you can remove them easily as you sew. On fine fabrics, pick up only a small amount of fabric with each pin so the fabric does not pucker. Do not sew over pins with a sewing machine or overlocker: if the machine needle hits a pin, it can break. Remove the pins in good time before stitching.
