You can use Prym eyelets with washers (art. no. 541373) wherever a hole in the material needs reinforcing or a lacing has to be threaded through, for example on clothing, home decor or craft projects. The eyelets have a diameter of 14 mm and are made of rustproof brass with a gold-coloured finish. The pack contains 10 eyelets with washers, plus a tool and instructions.

The tool is included, so you do not need to buy it separately. With the 10 pieces you can fit, for example, a curtain panel, the lacing on a bag or a sign with a hanging loop.

Fitting the eyelets

Mark the position for the eyelet and cut or punch a hole of the right size. The eyelet goes through the material from the front, and the washer goes on the back. Use the enclosed tool to join the two parts; the exact steps are given in the instructions. Try the fitting on an offcut first so that the hole does not end up too large or too small.

Uses

The eyelets are suitable for lacing, clothing, home decor and craft projects, or as a decorative feature. With thin or stretchy fabrics, add interfacing or a double layer of fabric at the eyelet position so that the material does not tear.
