Prym Sport Mini – small no-sew press studs for heavy-duty fabrics

Prym Sport Mini no-sew press studs are small, discreet snap fasteners with a diameter of 13 mm. You attach them without sewing to sturdy fabrics, for example leisurewear and sportswear, camping textiles or thick leather.

They are made of rustproof brass and close with strong closing force. According to Prym, they are corrosion-resistant and can be washed, spun, cleaned, ironed and mangled. This makes them suitable for items that are washed often.

Attaching the press studs

A tool and instructions for riveting are included. You can fit the press studs with the included tool and a hammer, with the Prym VARIO pliers or with the tripod. The pliers or the tripod are handy if you are fitting several studs in a row.

Which fabrics are they suitable for?

The press studs are intended for sturdy fabrics such as canvas, tent fabrics and thick leather that need a strong fastening force. At 13 mm they are small and unobtrusive. Test the fastening on a fabric offcut first so you can see whether the stud holds securely.
