Prym sew-on press studs are large 30 mm fasteners for jackets, coats, bags and creative accessories. They are made of rustproof brass and have an antique brass finish that works as a visible accent.

Each press stud consists of a socket part and a ball part. The base has a rolled edge, which protects the fabric from sharp edges. Four holes in the stud let you sew it on evenly.

How to sew on the press studs

First mark the position of the socket part and the ball part on both layers of fabric so that they meet exactly later. Then sew each part on with strong thread through all four holes. Make your stitches as even as possible through the holes and pull the threads tight so that the stud does not wobble, even under strain. For thick fabrics such as coat fabric, a strong needle helps.
