Brown faux leather labels to write on and sew on

Go Handmade faux leather labels are plain brown labels that you can write on and sew onto your handmade projects, such as handbags. At 85 × 18 mm they are fairly slim and work as a discreet maker's label on the edge of a bag, a pouch or a cushion.

The pack contains 4 pieces. That is enough for several small projects or a run of identical items. The labels are blank, so you decide what goes on them. For larger areas, the range also includes a 100 × 22 mm label in black.

Attaching the label

It is best to write on the label before sewing it on, while it is still lying flat. To hold it in place, use sewing clips rather than pins, as pins leave permanent holes in faux leather. On a sewing machine, use a slightly longer stitch length; by hand, sew small, even stitches around the edge.
