Dress it up The Good Shepherd – 6 novelty buttons for patchwork and crafts

The Good Shepherd buttons from Dress it up come as a set of 6 plastic buttons with motifs based around the shepherd. You can use them for patchwork, for decoration or as functional buttons.

The set contains one button each with a shepherd, an angel, a boy with a sheep and a star, plus two sheep. The largest button measures 33 mm. This lets you place one motif large as a focal point and combine the smaller buttons as accents.

Using the buttons

The buttons have a shank on the back. Sew them on with sewing thread through the shank, for example onto patchwork quilts, bags, cushions or decorative projects. Use strong thread and several stitches so that they stay in place even under strain. Each button has a different motif, so the set works well if you want to create a small scene or scatter individual motifs as accents.
