Rayher Raw Wood Figure Cones Ø 25 mm, Height 77 mm, Pack of 4

Rayher Beech Wood Figure Cones – Blanks for Play Figures, Angels and Shepherds

The raw wood figure cones from Rayher (art. no. 64536505) are untreated beech wood blanks that you can turn into small play figures. Each cone is 77 mm high with a diameter of 25 mm. The bag contains 4 pieces, so you get several figures of the same size, for example a small group of shepherds and angels. According to Rayher, they go with the nativity scene with art. no. 64535505.

The wood is untreated. You can leave the cones unpainted or turn them into figures with paint, fabric scraps and trimmings.

Preparing the cones for painting

If needed, sand the cones lightly with fine sandpaper to even out the surface, then wipe off the dust. The first coat of paint soaks in strongly on raw wood. With a thin coat of primer or a first diluted coat of paint, acrylic paints will then look more even. Paint faces and details only once the base colour is completely dry, ideally with a fine brush. Fabric scraps, wool or felt make clothes and hair for the cones.
