Miniature Wooden Garden Chair for Decorating and Painting

The miniature wooden garden chair is a small decorative piece for miniature scenes and DIY projects. At around 8.5 cm tall, it fits into dolls' house scenes, mini gardens or dioramas, where it serves as a seat in miniature.

The wood is light in colour and takes paint well. You can paint the chair in the colour of your choice, decorate it with marker pens or cover it using the decoupage technique. Several chairs together with other miniatures make a small garden scene.

Decorating the chair

Apply acrylic paint in thin layers and let each layer dry before applying the next. This keeps the edges and the gaps in the chair back neat, and the paint does not run together. A fine brush lets you reach tight spots too. For decoupage, stick cut-out napkin motifs onto the seat or the back. Use markers to add fine patterns or details.
