Hinged Wooden Pencil Box with Magnetic Catch, 20 × 6 × 6 cm

Hinged Wooden Pencil Box with Magnetic Catch

The hinged wooden pencil box holds drawing pencils or small items and can also be painted or decorated. A small magnet keeps the box closed. At approx. 20 × 6 × 6 cm, it fits in a drawer or on your work surface.

According to the manufacturer, the pale wood is paulownia and is untreated. You can therefore use the box as it is, or decorate it to your own taste.

What the box holds and how to decorate it

The inside is empty and measures approx. 18.5 × 4.5 × 3.7 cm. Colouring pencils, fineliners or brushes of normal length lie side by side in it. Beads, buttons and other small items are also well stored in it. Because the box opens on a hinge, you can reach the contents without having to lift off a lid.

Painting and decorating

As the wood is untreated, it takes paint well. Sand the surface lightly before painting so that it is smooth. With acrylic paint, decoupage or decorative paper, the box becomes a personal gift or a storage piece for the desk.
