Beechwood corner spoon – gentle on non-stick pans

The beechwood corner spoon is 30 cm long and designed for non-stick pans and pots. Wood does not scratch the coating, and the corner lets you reach the edge of the pan as well. The spoon is untreated and made from FSC-certified wood.

Using the corner

When stirring, run the corner along the edge of the pan or where the side meets the base. This loosens anything stuck on and picks up residue around the edges, which a spoon with an evenly rounded shape reaches less well. In non-stick pans and pots, wood is gentler than metal, which can scratch the coating. Do not leave the spoon sitting in water for long, as untreated wood swells.

Also for crafting

Because the beechwood is untreated, the spoon can also be used for craft projects, for example for painting or decorating. Once you have treated it with paint, glue or other craft materials, do not use it for cooking again.
