Efco Wooden Hands for Dolls or Puppets, Beech Wood

Efco Beech Wood Hands – for Handmade Dolls and Puppets

Efco wooden hands are made of beech wood and are intended for dolls or puppets. Each hand has a drilled hole, which you use to attach it to an arm made of dowel, wire or cord. Paint, glue or decorate them as you like, for example for puppets, felt figures or bendy dolls.

The hands come in different sizes with different hole diameters and pack quantities. Choose the size you need from the options.

Which size fits?

The sizes differ in hole diameter and in the number of pieces: packs of 4 hands have a hole of Ø 5 mm or Ø 6 mm, and the pack of 2 hands has a hole of Ø 8 mm. What matters is what you put into the hole: dowel, wire or cord should fit as closely as possible. It is best to check this before you paint or glue the hands.

Decorating and attaching

Paint the hands before you attach them to the figure, so you can reach all sides easily. Let the paint dry completely before you fix the hands to the arm. A wood glue is suitable for fixing; apply it sparingly in the hole so that nothing oozes out.
