Royal Talens Callisto Table Easel – Beechwood Box Easel

Callisto Table Easel – Solid Beechwood Easel with Storage Drawer

The Royal Talens Callisto is a tabletop easel made of solid beechwood, which you can use for charcoal drawings or for working on small canvases. The drawer holds a wooden insert with compartments, where you can keep pencils, charcoal or tubes neatly organised.

The canvas support folds away. This turns the easel into a compact box that is easy to take along to a class, the garden or the studio.

Who the Callisto is for

With a base of 30 × 37.5 cm and an overall height of 34 cm, the easel stands on a table and takes up little space. The maximum canvas height is 30 cm. It therefore suits smaller formats, sketches and studies, but not large canvases. For larger work done standing up, you will need a field easel or studio easel. At 2.1 kg, the Callisto is easy to carry.

On the move and in the studio

For transport, fold the support away; while you draw, the drawer stays accessible as a storage compartment. For charcoal and pastel, the compartments help you sort pencils by hardness or colour, so you do not have to search through your materials.
