Square wooden picture frame, 15 × 15 cm inner, 21.5 cm outer

Square wooden frame to decorate – 15 × 15 cm inner size

This square picture frame is made of natural wood and is intended for small photos, drawings, prints and collages. The wood is untreated and sanded smooth, so you can use the frame as it is or decorate it yourself.

The inner size is 150 × 150 mm and the outer size is 215 × 215 mm. Pictures up to 15 × 15 cm fill the opening, and the wooden border, about 3 cm wide, remains as a surface for decorating.

Decorating the frame

Because the wood is untreated, it takes up paint and stain. You can paint it with acrylic paints, tint it with a wood stain, decorate it with pyrography, or stick on washi tape, lettering and natural materials. Wood absorbs paint differently from one area to another, so test the colour on the back first.

Uses for the frame

The size suits photos, children's drawings, wedding pictures and scrapbooking pages. Several frames decorated in the same way make a small wall gallery. Depending on the fixing you use, you can hang the frame or stand it up.
