Efco wooden note box, 11 x 11 x 10 cm – blank to paint

Efco wooden note box – to paint and decorate

The Efco note box is a natural wood box that you decorate to your own taste. It measures 11 x 11 x 10 cm and can be painted with acrylic paints or decorated with a pyrography pen. You can also stick things onto it.

As the box is undecorated, it becomes a personal piece for your desk, for example for notepaper slips. As a gift, it can be personalised with names, patterns or motifs.

Decorating the box

Before painting, lightly sand the wood smooth along the edges and surfaces with fine sandpaper and wipe off the dust. Acrylic paint covers wood better if you apply thin layers and let each one dry well. With the pyrography pen, first sketch your design lightly in pencil, then burn over it. It is best to burn before painting and not on surfaces that are already coloured. Always put the hot pen down on a heat-resistant surface.
