Fitting and choosing the size

Slide the wheel onto an axle with a diameter of 8 mm. For it to turn, it must not be glued in place: the axle needs a little play, and a stopper such as a washer, a split pin or a bead glued to the end of the axle keeps the wheel in place. Sand the axle lightly so that the wheel slides well. A tractor usually has smaller front wheels and larger rear wheels. The same range is also available in 60 mm and 80 mm diameters to match.
