Efco 50 mm Beech Wooden Cube – Sharp Corners, for Painting and Engraving

The Efco wooden cube is made of natural beech and measures 50 × 50 × 50 mm. It is planed and cut and has sharp corners. As a blank, you can paint it, glue things onto it or engrave it, for example for homemade games, skill games, educational projects or as a decorative element.

The 50 mm is the edge length of the cube.

Working with the cube

The beech wood is untreated, so you can paint it, glue things onto it or engrave it straight away. With water-based paint, the wood fibres often stand up after the first coat. Sand the surface lightly once dry and apply a second coat. If you want the cube to sit comfortably in the hand later, for example as a dice, lightly round off the edges with fine sandpaper.

Choosing the size and shape

The series is also available with an edge length of 40 and 30 mm. At 50 mm you have more surface for motifs, numbers or engravings. If you prefer rounded corners, choose a cube with rounded corners.
