Rayher Hanging Wire Cloud – Wire Shape for Wrapping and Decorating

The wire cloud from Rayher is a silver-coloured wire shape in the form of a cloud, made for hanging. You can wrap it as you like, combine it with other craft materials or use it as a base for macramé, dreamcatchers, window decorations, floristry and crochet pictures. It can also be used as a decoration for a child's room.

The shape measures 30 × 17.5 cm. The wire is 2 mm thick, so it holds its shape very well. The cloud keeps its form while you wrap it and hang it up, and works well as a frame for your own ideas.

Ideas and wrapping

According to Rayher, the wire shape can be combined and wrapped with a wide range of craft materials, for example plush cord, beads, chenille wire or wool cord. Start with a firm knot in a spot that will not be noticeable later, and wrap the cord closely around the wire, turn next to turn. This creates a closed surface, so the wire does not show through. For a cloud mobile or a dreamcatcher, hang the cloud from a thread and attach strands, feathers or beads along the lower edge. For a macramé or crochet picture, you can use the shape as a frame.
