Polystyrene sheet 50 × 30 × 2 cm – light EPS sheet for crafting and making

The sheet is made of white polystyrene (EPS) and measures 50 × 30 cm with a thickness of 2 cm. You can use it for model making, school projects, decoration and displays. The material is lightweight, sturdy and holds its shape. You can cut, paint, glue and coat the sheet.

At 2 cm thick, the sheet supports small structures, diorama bases or decorative elements. The size is easy to handle and fits comfortably on an ordinary work table.

Working with the sheet

Draw the shape on with a pencil and cut the polystyrene with a sharp knife or a polystyrene cutter. A blunt knife tears out the beads and leaves the edges crumbly. Water-based acrylic paint is suitable for painting. Paints, sprays and glues containing solvents can attack and dissolve polystyrene, so test first on an offcut or on the edge.
