Rico Design Stretched Canvas 15 × 15 cm – Hand-stretched for Oil and Acrylic

The Rico Design stretched canvas 15 × 15 cm is a hand-stretched canvas for oil and acrylic painting. The canvas is made of 100 % cotton and is universally primed. You do not need to prime it yourself and can work on it with both oil paint and acrylic paint.

The stretcher frame is made of 14 mm thick, FSC-certified wood. The small square format suits studies, colour tests, miniatures or small gift paintings. The same series is also available in 25 × 25 cm.

Which subjects suit this format?

On 15 × 15 cm you work with little paint and in a short time. This is well suited to trying out a colour mood or a section of a picture before you move on to a larger format. For such a small surface, choose fine round or flat brushes so that details are not lost.

Oil or acrylic?

Both types of paint work on the universally primed canvas. Choose one technique for each painting: acrylic paint does not adhere to an oily layer, so oil paint should only ever go over acrylic, never underneath it.
