Heki Textured Terrain Mat Light Green Grass, 75 × 100 cm Roll

Heki light green grass terrain mat – grass surface for model making and model railways

The Heki textured terrain mat in light green grass (art. no. 30901) is a grass mat for model making and model railways. Grass fibres are applied to the mat, which reproduces meadows and lawns in light green. It measures 75 × 100 cm and is supplied rolled.

The mat is easy to cut to size and can be glued onto wood or paper. It covers baseboards, track surroundings or dioramas in one piece, so you do not have to apply grass fibre by fibre.

Creating a terrain surface

Cut the mat to the shape of your area with scissors or a craft knife and glue it onto wood or paper. For hills and mountains, first form a framework from balls of paper, wood or card and lay the mat over it. Test the glue on an offcut first, so that the grass fibres do not stick together and the base does not warp.
