The Rayher acrylic rhinestones mix (art. no. 1523600) is an assortment of 1,000 rhinestones for decorating. The stones measure 5–14 mm and come in different colours and shapes: flowers, circles, squares, drops and hearts. You glue them onto paper, card or fabric to add sparkling effects.

The range of sizes is handy, because one assortment lets you add both small accents and larger eye-catchers. With 1,000 pieces, the quantity is enough for several projects, for example cards, scrapbooking pages, gift wrapping or fabric decorations.

Setting the stones

First lay out your design with the stones without glue, so you can see whether the colours and sizes work together. Then apply the glue sparingly in small dots and place each stone with tweezers. Too much glue oozes out at the edges and dulls the sparkle. Choose the glue to suit the surface: for fabric you need a glue that is suitable for textiles.

Which stones go where?

Larger stones work well as the focal point of a design, for example as the centre of a flower or an accent on a card. Use the smaller ones for borders, patterns or filling areas.
