Rayher Pepita Feather Mix 7–9 cm – soft feathers for decorating and crafts

The Rayher Pepita feather mix is a mix of soft feathers 7–9 cm long for decorative and craft projects. Each bag contains 10 g.

You can use them on dreamcatchers, in table decorations or in spring and Easter decorations, for example. The uniform length of 7–9 cm helps when you want the feathers to match in size and look, such as on pendants or a wreath.

Working with the feathers

For dreamcatchers, tie the feathers to the quill with thread or thin wire and hang them from cords. To glue them onto paper, card or wood, apply just a small dot of glue to the quill; this keeps the soft vanes clean. Too much glue sticks the vanes together and looks blotchy later. Dab hot glue on the quill sparingly and briefly so the feather does not become misshapen.

Choosing a feather mix

The feathers in this mix are 7–9 cm long and therefore fairly uniform. If you need feathers in very different lengths, the Rayher feather mix with 3–10 cm is the better choice.
