Rayher ribbed vase set, 2 vases to paint – 18 and 14 cm

Rayher ribbed vase set – 2 vases to paint and decorate

The Rayher ribbed vase set contains two vases with a ribbed texture in different sizes. You can display them as they are or decorate them yourself: Rayher suggests painting with Multi Gloss or creating a vintage look with Chalky Finish for glass (chalk paint).

The slim vase 1 is 18 cm tall and holds 110 ml, while the wider vase 2 is 14 cm tall and holds 220 ml. The openings are narrow at 1.7 cm and 2.2 cm, so they suit thin stems, grasses or dried flowers best. The two sizes look good displayed side by side as a group.

Decorating the vases

For a vintage look, paint the vases with Chalky Finish for glass chalk paint; with Multi Gloss you can give them a coloured finish. Clean the vases thoroughly beforehand and let them dry so that the paint adheres evenly. It is best to apply the paint in several thin coats and let each coat dry. The ribs work as a texture: if you only brush the paint onto the raised parts, more of the base stays visible in the recesses.
