With the Städter heart cookie cutter with cut-outs, you can cut hearts from dough, fondant or marzipan. Small heart-shaped cut-outs are formed inside at the same time. According to the manufacturer, you therefore cut not only the outline but also small motifs within the shape. The cookie cutter is made of rustproof stainless steel, spot-welded, food-safe and dishwasher safe.

The cutter is also suitable for crafting and modelling, for example with modelling clay, salt dough or Fimo. The manufacturer also mentions felt work as well as soap and candle making.

Tips for clean, openwork hearts

Do not roll the dough out too thinly, so that the narrow bars between the cut-outs do not tear when you lift the heart. If the dough is sticky, it helps to dip the cutter briefly in flour or icing sugar first. Press the cutter straight down through the dough with even pressure and release the pieces of dough from the cut-outs before you lift off the heart. The cutting edge is sharp, so handle the cutter carefully when cutting and washing up.
