Glorex silicone mould for jewellery pendants with 12 designs

With this Glorex silicone mould you can cast your own jewellery pendants. The mould is made of soft silicone and has 12 designs, so you fill several pendants in one go. According to Glorex, the brand's silicone moulds are pleasantly soft to work with and release easily without mould release agent. They suit various casting materials, for example casting resin, Stewalin and Creative Beton.

The mould is flexible. Simply push the hardened pendants out of the cavity from the back without jamming them. Because you fill all 12 designs in one go, you get even batches, for example for necklaces, bag charms or gifts.

Casting the pendants

Place the mould on a flat, level surface so the pendants have an even thickness. Mix your casting material exactly as the manufacturer's instructions say and fill the cavities evenly without overfilling them. When using casting resin, pour slowly so that only a few air bubbles form.

• Let the casting material harden completely before you release it
• Bend the mould slightly and push the pendant out from the back
• You can set an eyelet into the material before it has hardened, or drill into the finished pendant

Good to know

Because the mould is flexible, do not pull or twist it while casting, otherwise the designs will be distorted. If you have used the mould for casting resin, plaster, soap or concrete, do not use it for food afterwards.
