Pracht decorative wax sheets for memorial candles, 3 strips

Decorative wax sheets for memorial candles – 3 strips in black, grey/silver and black and white

With Pracht decorative wax sheets, you can make your own memorial, remembrance and commemorative candles. The set contains 3 wax strips in black, grey or silver, and black and white, each approx. 5 × 20 cm. You cut strips, crosses, lettering or other symbols from them and apply them to a candle as decoration.

The three colours are understated and combine well, for example a black border with a black and white cross. The decorating wax can be shaped and sticks well to candle surfaces.

Working with the wax strips

Pracht recommends working with wax sheets at room temperature. Cut out the shape with a craft scalpel or a flat knife, preferably on a cutting mat, and press it onto the candle starting from the centre. If the wax does not stick, according to Pracht it is probably too cold: warm it briefly in your hand. Do not place the decoration directly at the top edge of the candle, so that it does not melt as the candle burns down.
