Pebaro Wood Burning Stamp Set Floral – 12 Brass Stamps for Pyrography

The Pebaro wood burning stamp set (art. no. 20200) contains 12 screw-in brass stamps. You can use them to decorate untreated wood, cork or leather by pyrography. The designs are flower, diamond, moon, circle, heart and star, each as an outline and as a solid design.

The stamps have a thread and fit the Pebaro pyrography pen, which you need to buy separately. The outline designs make fine, open marks. The solid designs give dark, closed areas. You can combine both for borders, patterns or personalisation.

Working with the wood burning stamps

Screw the stamp you want onto the cold pyrography pen, then let it heat up fully. Sand the wood finely beforehand, as this makes the impression more even. Place the stamp on straight and press it down briefly without letting it slip. Otherwise the design will smudge. Try out pressure and timing on an offcut first, as the impression comes out darker or lighter depending on the material.

Outline or solid?

Outline designs look delicate and can be placed close together. Solid designs make bold accents and work as a focal point, for example on their own in the centre of a piece. If you combine both, you get varied patterns.

Only screw the stamps onto the cold pyrography pen. The stamps get hot during use, so let them cool down before changing them.
