Prym Professional embroidery scissors 9 cm – fine point for precise cutting

The Prym Professional fine embroidery scissors (art. no. 611441) are small scissors for embroidery and fine sewing work. They are 9 cm long, about the size of nail scissors, and fit into any embroidery bag or basket.

The straight point is very fine and delicate. You can use it to cut single threads, small appliqués or fine fabric cut-outs to the millimetre. Prym makes the scissors from hardened steel.

What you can use the embroidery scissors for

The fine point is useful wherever larger scissors would be too clumsy: trimming thread ends close to the fabric, unpicking individual stitches or cutting out small appliqués. Cut threads right at the embroidery without pulling on them, so the fabric does not distort. For larger cuts you will need fabric scissors or dressmaking shears, as embroidery scissors are designed for fine detail.
