Re:Designed Project 55 Backpack – canvas and leather backpack for crafting and everyday

The Re:Designed Project 55 backpack in Burned Tan is a compact backpack made from canvas and leather. It is designed for taking craft projects on the move and can just as easily be worn as an everyday backpack. Re:Designed ApS of Denmark combines Scandinavian design with a practical layout here.

The leather is Urban Leather, a milled cowhide with a natural grain. It is lightly waxed after dyeing and feels soft and smooth. It is combined with waxed cotton canvas. At 41 cm high, 27 cm wide and 11 cm deep, the backpack stays handy and is comfortable to carry every day.

Inside layout

Inside you will find an open compartment and a fabric mesh pocket. The mesh pocket holds small items such as stitch markers or needle protectors, so they do not end up at the bottom of the backpack. You can clip a tape measure, for example, onto the key ring. Two button fastenings keep the backpack closed.

Material and care

The light layer of wax applied after dyeing gives the leather its characteristic look. For care, Re:Designed offers a matching leather care wax. As is usual with waxed materials, the appearance may change over time with use.
