Stylex hole reinforcement rings – stop punched sheets tearing out

Stylex hole reinforcement rings are self-adhesive, transparent rings that you use to strengthen punched sheets around the holes. This stops the holes tearing out when pages are turned or filed frequently. The pack contains 500 rings and is suitable for office, school and home use.

Because the rings are transparent, the text on the sheet stays legible and your documents still look neat.

How to apply the rings

Stick the rings on only after the sheet has been punched. For sheets that already tear when filed, it is best to fit them straight away.

• Punch the sheet and lay it flat on a work surface.
• Peel the ring from the backing paper and position it so that the hole in the ring sits exactly over the punched hole.
• Press the ring down firmly so that it sticks all the way round.

How far do 500 rings go?

With two holes per sheet, as is usual for most lever arch files and ring binders, 500 rings are enough for 250 sheets. This helps you plan quantities for reports, contracts or school papers that are often leafed through.
