Prym Mini Sewing Gauge – flexible gauge for the sewing machine

The Prym Mini Sewing Gauge (art. no. 610731) is a small, flexible plastic gauge for working right at the sewing machine. It measures 4 × 11.5 cm and fits in any sewing basket. Both sides have a centimetre scale with a stitch length check and a marking guide for 90° angles.

The material is light and bendy, so you can hold the gauge close against fabric and pattern and measure accurately even on curved areas. You can mark positions precisely through the notches.

Using the gauge at the sewing machine

Place the gauge against a hem, seam allowance or fold and read the length off the scale without taking the fabric out of the machine. The stitch length check shows whether the stitch length you have set suits your fabric. Use the 90° marking guide for right-angled corners, for example on pockets or piping. Make marks with a pen or chalk through the notches.
