Prym bra accessories (art. no. 991890) replace worn parts on bras and are the basic kit if you are sewing a bra yourself. The set contains 12 plastic pieces for strap widths of 6 and 8 mm: 4 hooks, 4 rings and 4 sliders, all clear.

Depending on the bra design, rings and hooks connect the straps to the cups. The sliders adjust the strap length at the front and back. All pieces are made of plastic and are washable up to 60 °C.

Choosing the right pieces

What matters is the width of your straps: the rings, hooks and sliders must match the strap width, otherwise the strap slips through or cannot be threaded. The set covers 6 and 8 mm. When replacing a part, it is best to use the old one as a guide and note the order in which the strap runs through the slider and ring. When sewing your own, put the slider and ring onto the straps before attaching them to the cups and the back. You can then still adjust the length later.
