Prym Tube Turner Set – Turning Fabric Tubes Made Easy

The Prym tube turner set (art. no. 610190) turns home-sewn fabric tubes, for example for straps, belt loops or bag handles. You slip the tube over a plastic tube and push it through with a rod. The fabric turns itself right side out as you go, so you don't have to thread it through with a needle.

The set contains three sizes, so it covers narrow loops as well as wide handles.

How to turn a fabric tube

First sew the fabric tube along its length and close one end. Then proceed as follows:

• Slip the open end of the tube over the plastic tube.
• Place the rod against the sewn end.
• Push the fabric through the tube with the rod. The fabric tube is turned automatically as you do so.

Which size is right?

Choose according to the width of your fabric tube. Size S is suitable for tube widths from 9.5 to 16 mm, for example narrow belt loops. Size M fits 19 to 25 mm, and size L fits tube widths from 25 mm, for example wide bag handles. Choose the tube to match the width so that the fabric runs through easily.
