Prym snap hook 45 x 25 mm, silver colour

Prym snap hook 45 x 25 mm – bag fastener and handle attachment

The Prym snap hook (art. no. 417910) is a silver-coloured clip for attaching bag handles or fastening homemade bags, rucksacks, pouches, sports bags and baby changing bags. At 45 x 25 mm it is large enough to be easy to grip, and its rounded shape also makes it a visible detail.

According to Prym, the hook has a durable, smooth-running closing mechanism. You can open and close it without it catching or jerking, which matters for fastenings you use every day. The finish is silver-coloured and brushed.

Uses for the snap hook

It is typically used on bags: sew a strap or loop to the bag, clip the hook on, and swap the handle or strap as needed. On rucksacks and pouches it serves as a quick fastener or for hanging small items. It can also be used as a key ring.

Choosing the right size

The 45 x 25 mm size suits bags where the hook stays visible and should be easy to grip. For finer projects, Prym also offers smaller snap hooks, for example 7 x 38 mm. Measure the width of your strap or loop beforehand so that it fits the opening of the hook.
