Prym Kate bag chain – gold-coloured chain with snap hooks

The Prym Kate bag chain is a chunky gold-coloured metal chain that gives your bags a handle or shoulder strap without any sewing. The chain is 70 cm long and is made of 100% iron, according to Prym.

There is a small snap hook in the same colour at each end. You simply clip the chain onto the bag and swap it again whenever you like. Prym recommends it for modern bag designs such as evening bags.

Attaching the chain

Each snap hook needs a loop or ring on the bag to clip onto. On a bag you have sewn yourself, stitch a small loop with a D-ring or a metal eyelet onto each side. Then clip the chain on at both ends. You can quickly unclip it again for cleaning or swapping.
