The Go Handmade leather-look handbag base in black is a firm foundation for handmade bags. It measures 31 × 10 cm, is made of faux leather (PU leather) and has rounded corners.

The 4 mm Ø holes make it a base you can work into: you can crochet your bag directly onto the base or sew the bag wall on. The base is also available in beige and in the larger size of 36 × 13 cm.

Working with the base

To crochet, push the crochet hook through a hole, pull the yarn through and work double crochet stitches into the holes. Then continue crocheting the bag wall upwards in rounds. To sew, pass a needle and strong thread through the holes and attach a wall made of fabric or knitting. Important: the needle and yarn must pass easily through the 4 mm holes. Work a few stitches first as a test.
